Your team
Our hands-on leadership team is responsible for shaping our strategy and culture; and growing a successful business that achieves our mission.
Our product vision is to create the most loved digital home loan in Australia. A core pillar in achieving this is to deliver key product features customers love or expect with their loan. We have a loved and admired home loan in market, and need to keep building our features to ensure we remain that way.
You will be the delivery leader for the inlife experience squad, supported by a squad of engineers and designers and working with our product team.
Your impact and contribution
You’ll be in the driving seat to take Unloan’s lending experience to the next level. You’re obsessed about ensuring projects deliver to provide customer value. Your previous experience in large complex organisations means you are able to effectively manage projects across multiple teams, squads and divisions to completion.
You will have had experience in financial services products, and have a focus on ensuring delivering great customer experiences and great products to our customers. Your expertise in facilitating quality decision making with stakeholders and your ability manage project deliverables will be instrumental to Unloan achieving agreed outcomes.
Your expertise in product management, business analysis and coaching will empower the Product and Delivery Teams to deliver effectively and efficiently across the E2E delivery lifecycle.
This role will report to a Senior Product Manager.
Your responsibilities
Own the delivery of our projects and features end to end for our In-Life squad
Execute and delivery the product roadmap by working closely with the Product Team and cross-functionally with other business functions to drive new product features to the market.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations and risk to plan activities across the squad to deliver on Unloan’s OKRs and strategic initiatives.
Communicate effectively throughout the planning, development and releases of our product features.
Drive and caretake feature development and release including ensuring all required approvals are attained in timely manner and appropriate documentation is completed in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
Balance competing demands to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Develop robust and achievable project plans and reporting to manage the delivery of quality project deliverables.
Effectively manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders, delivery teams; suppliers and/or third parties.
Facilitates quality decision making with stakeholders and others to manage project delivery.
Identify and develop mitigation strategies to manage project interdependencies.
Manage projects to achieve the objectives and business benefits.
Manages projects activities and deliverables to achieve agreed outcomes including project expenditures and benefits realisation.
Partners with stakeholders to manage organisational change.
Recommends and implements controls to mitigate key risks on the project; effectively manages risk and controls processes.
Structure project team for success incorporating required skills from within and across the Group and sourcing resources from relevant teams, partners, suppliers or third parties.

Your experience & knowledge
You’re have strong experience in project delivery in financial products.
You’re excited to push the envelope for innovation and leverage new and emerging capabilities to enhance our experiences and customer experiences.
You have experience with driving change, ideally relating to co-ordinating the implementation of solutions to issues across broad, complex areas and across multiple business units.
You have experience in digital-first businesses, where automation and simple processes are core pillars in planning and delivery activity.
You have excellent stakeholder management skills are able to build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across different domains.
You have excellent communication and collaboration skills and will be able to deliver succinct communication and training to our operations staff where needed.
You can autonomously manage multiple projects/streams at the same time, but also know when to make decisions to stop non-meaningful work.
