About the role
Due to continued growth with long term key clients ACOR are seeking a self-motivated Project Manager to support the delivery of projects within the defence industry.
Working as part of our Canberra team, you will be responsible for ensuring effective project execution across multidisciplinary works.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing technical direction, oversight and management of both engineering and design projects.
- Conducting site-based inspections, engineering, and commission services to internal and external projects.
- Providing engineering assessment, design, and documentation of a high level within time, cost, and quality expectations.
- Providing original contribution or applying new professional engineering approaches and techniques to the design or development of projects and solutions
- Consulting, recommending, and advising in speciality engineering areas
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Architecture, and/or
- Certifications in Project Management
- Experience in Design Project Management will be highly regarded
- High level written and Verbal communication skills teamed with a professional personal presentation are critical for the success of this role.
- A strong working knowledge with a range of design software packages, data management systems and auditing
Due to the nature of our projects, the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for Baseline Security Clearance.
