The opportunity
As the Quality and Compliance Officer you will work with our leaders to develop systems and processes that support our programs ongoing ability to provide quality services to our clients.
Reporting to the Team Leader - Quality you will contribute to the culture of continuous improvement and will assist with compliance with relevant accreditation, legislative and industry quality standards.
Your work will encompass diverse fields such as Governance, Risk, Child Protection, Disability Services, Family Services, Housing & Homelessness and Youth. Experience within the Human Services field is highly desired.

Responsibilities of the role:
- Assist in the development, review and maintenance of IFYS quality documents
- Assist in identifying and implementing continuous improvement across the organisation
- Support the Quality Manager in the delivery of key projects, from concept to completion
- Conduct internal compliance audits and assessments
- Assist with and monitoring of corrective actions/plans
- Conduct feedback reviews for internal and external clients
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Experience within the Human Services sector is highly regarded
- Quality auditing skills
- Knowledge and understanding of risk management
- Well-developed contemporary organisational and administrative skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a high level of accountability
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
- Role requires some travel
Must hold or be willing to obtain if successful:
- QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- QLD Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2)
- National Criminal History Check (a new check will be requested through IFYS systems)
