The position of Project Officer – Recruitment Operations forms a part of the People and Culture branch within the Corporate Services group.
The Recruitment Services team is part of the People & Culture Operations Team. The team is responsible for the service delivery of recruitment operations for the department. This includes managing and implementing JSE Policy while ensuring systems and processes are best practice to ensure the timely delivery of recruitment operations to the Department.
The Role
The Project Officer is responsible for undertaking a range of tasks to support the Recruitment Operations Team, ensuring the delivery of a timely and responsive service to the Department. The Project Officer will manage deliverables for several key projects, relating to data, automation and process improvement, and will be responsible for providing support in relation to policy updates, and ensuring all systems and documentation is updated.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Identify and contribute to various process improvement projects related to automating the recruitment process. i.e. systems improvements, dashboard developments and enhancements etc.
- Provide support in relation to policy updates, and ensuring all systems and documentation is updated
- Provide team resourcing support to support professional, timely and effective delivery of recruitment operations.
- Take the lead on a range of small projects simultaneously under limited direction.
