Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of the Project Quality requirements as per Contract, and ISO 9001 requirements.
The position will initially be a 12-month contract with options to extend. The role will be based at the Client’s head office in Perth with easy access to public transport.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide the necessary support to the PQM regarding quality issues, as follows:
- Development and implementation of the PQM System, as per relevant requirements;
- Preparation of Project Quality Plans, QC Plans, and other Quality procedures in accordance with Company / Project requirements;
- Planning and conducting of Internal & External Quality Audits, as well as preparation of Audit Reports;
- Follow-up and closure of Audit Findings and Site Non-conformities;
- Reporting on the status of corrective and/or preventive actions, and overall effectiveness of this Project Quality Management to the Project Quality Manager, Corporate QHSE and Client;
- Review and evaluation of Supplier’s/Subcontractor’s Quality documentation;
- Ensure knowledge and awareness of Quality requirements within the Project Team, conduction of Project Quality Trainings;
- Support to PQM and other departments regarding Lessons Learned, As-built, Cost of Non-Quality, Customer Satisfaction Processes.
- More than 5 years in similar position (preferred in Oil & Gas Industry).
- Qualifications in welding (CSWIP 3.0 or 3.1) or NDT, coating would be recommended.
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering Field or equivalent.
- Have ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certificate
- Excellent verbal and written communications (in English), with very strong attention to detail and the ability to structure thoughts deliberately, logically and directly;
- High level of initiative, self-drive and enthusiasm to succeed and progress;
- Very good organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, manage expectations and coordinate priorities;
