About the role & Company
Our client is a large, Australian primary healthcare provider that is looking for a Reconciliations Officer to join their finance team during a change management project. The role will report into the Financial Accountant and focuses on reconciliations and identifying discrepancies The contract is for an initial 4-6 week term but the ideal candidate would have the opportunity to extendThe responsibilities
As part of the accounts team you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Reconciling between practise software and the bank
- Investigating account discrepancies and rectifying
- Resolving account inquiries as quickly as possible.
- Collaborating with the project operational teams to identify issues
- Supporting the project team with ad-hoc requests
- At least 6 months experience in an accounts role with a focus on reconciliations.
- Hold a relevant university degree
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within a team
- Option to extend
