Project Support Officer (Cyber)

• $80-$110 per hour inclusive of superannuation
• Long term contract - 12+12+12 month contract
• Canberra, ACT with flexible work arrangements
• Baseline security clearance required

Are you an experienced Cyber Project Support Officer looking for a stimulating and rewarding opportunity?

Resolve Recruit is partnering with a Commonwealth Government department in their search for a talented a Project Support Officer (Cyber) to join their team. You will be working within a dynamic team committed to delivering quality outcomes across the department's IT Cyber Security team. As the Project Support Officer (Cyber), you will suppoer the delivery of to a body of work focused on an Essential Eight maturity uplift project, lifting the department's maturity level by 2025. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Contributing to a body of work focused on an Essential Eight maturity uplift project, lifting the department's maturity level by 2025. 
• Assist with conducting discovery to assess medium to high risk systems.
• Collaborate with system owners to understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Work with various divisions and branches to establish awareness sessions.
• Ad hoc project related work as necessary, such as procurement, project governance and reporting and hosting meetings. 
• Assist with building work plans and schedules.

Desirable skills and experience: 

• Undertaking procurement activities including contract management.
• Knowledge of DevOps to track program related work.
• Working with stakeholders across a department agency to drive change.
• Experience and knowledge of the Essential Eight framework.
• Demonstrated experience working in IT project roles.
