Where you’ll be working
You will be working with a diverse and dynamic team within Health System Support Group (HSSG) and based at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards, NSW 2065. HSSG is a unit of the Public Health System Support Division of the Health Administration Corporation to provide services to support the public health system in implementing Government targets and programs.
The Connected Care and Partnerships Team is responsible for the implementation of the Integrated Care, Collaborative Commissioning and Leading Better Value Care Programs. Integrated care supports the NSW Health vision for a sustainable health system that delivers outcomes that matter most to patients and the community, is personalised, invests in wellness and is digitally enabled.

About the Role
The Project/Policy Officer will be responsible for supporting the Connected Care and Partnerships Team with program administrative related activities including and not limited to:
- Preparing, authoring, editing, managing and reviewing the provision of high-level communications and correspondence for approval including ministerial correspondence, briefs, policies, reports, submissions and notes to ensure the comprehensiveness, accuracy and timeliness of written information.
- Working with the Senior Managers and Managers to manage all program reporting.
- Assisting with the monitoring and reporting of project benefits and outcomes achieved on a monthly basis.
- Coordinating and undertaking project activities to support the Connected Care and Partnerships Team.
- Liaise, communicate and consult with key staff in public health organisations and stakeholder representatives to secure their engagement and ensure effective interface on projects.

Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in project management, high level data analysis skills and experience with development of reports.
- Well-developed analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
- Excellent communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills with the ability to produce high quality written documentation and presentations in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with ability and willingness to learn other software systems as required.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of health service operations and health priority areas and related health policy at state and national levels.
- Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to prioritise competing demands, achieve business goals within tight deadlines, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as communications, health management, nursing, allied health, and/or equivalent experience.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
