About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Projects and Minor-Works Plumbing Supervisor to join our Asset Services team based at Hendra.
As a Plumbing Supervisor you will:
- Coordinate all site activities under the guidance of the Project Manager.
- The safe and efficient delivery of projects on critical infrastructure for key Queensland clients.
- Providing outstanding customer service and technical solutions to key clients, whilst ensuring a high level of communication.
- Maintaining regular communication with your team members.
- Forward planning and scheduling of works.
- Be fluent in reading and assessing construction drawings and coordinating works with principal contractors.
- Lead, develop and manage the accountability for a team of plumbers and apprentices.
- Oversee the workflow onsite and resolve site issues.
- Be able to communicate clearly with clients and staff.
- Ensure work is completed within given time frames.
- Assist Management with the tracking of Apprentices, including their progress and work standards.
- Promote a workplace culture of positive and quality performance.
- Proactively build and maintain working relationships with clients.
About you

- Demonstrated experience in major and minor-works projects.
- Complete and pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screening
- Have a firm understanding of QLD plumbing codes and Australian Standards.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Dedicated commitment to regulations and safe work practices.
- Motivated to work autonomously and within a team environment, playing an active role within the broader team.
- Current Queensland Plumbing Licence.
- Construction White Card.
- Current C class Drivers’ Licence (manual).
- High Risk Work Licence, including EWP and Scissor (desirable).
- Backflow and TMV endorsements (desirable).
- Gas Licence (desirable).
As you will be working in secure and sensitive environments, you MUST also be able to obtain a current police check/clearance.
