Make a difference as a Projects Principal (Claims Simplification)

Your Role

As a Projects Principal (Claims Simplification), you'll support the effective management and delivery of strategic initiatives across IIA Claims, in line with the overall IIA strategy.

The role involves overseeing the successful delivery of strategic projects from ideation to completion, ensuring they align with objectives and are delivered on time and within budget. This includes coordinating people and processes, optimising operational excellence, and managing risks effectively. Additionally, the role entails collaborating with technology and operations teams to prioritize projects, shape delivery plans, and manage execution against plans. Facilitating communication with executive stakeholders, adhering to initiative management frameworks, and implementing efficient systems of work are also key responsibilities. Furthermore, the role involves supporting project delivery through collaboration with various teams, quantifying benefits for budgeting purposes, implementing mitigation strategies, managing vendor contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity where you can be based in any of our offices in Australia.

About You

To be successful in this role, in addition to having experience in the financial/ insurance sector, you'll need to have the following:
• Minimum 5-7 years business experience across diverse focus areas such as change transformation, systems delivery, and people & culture change.
• Demonstrated experience and track record in commercial delivery.
• Focus on continuous improvement and identification of new opportunities.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and engagement.
• Ability to work autonomously within a small team framework and prioritise workload .
• Ability to lead teams through significant change.
• Highly computer literate with advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
