WE OFFER:
- Above Award wages - $60,000 - $70,00 p.a. plus super

YOUR ROLE
Based at our Humpty Doo Activities Centre, you will be responsible for supervising, supporting, and encouraging Community Development Program (CDP) Jobseekers to participate and attend skills training and work like activities to assist them to secure meaningful and sustainable employment.
To be successful in this role, you must provide evidence of your ability to work in an intercultural environment. Previous experience in a similar role with education, training or administration skills will be highly regarded.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of an appropriate, safe, high-quality activity that is culturally inclusive and supports the interests and needs of the participants and the community
- Create and maintain an encouraging and inspiring learning environment to facilitate regular Jobseeker attendance that builds self-esteem and confidence
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports relating to the activity's achievements, obstacles and ongoing projects
- Regularly inform participants and the local community of job vacancies, markets training and activities within the region through different advertising mediums
- General administration, filing and document preparation.
ABOUT YOU
- Background or experience or experience in Education/Training and/or Administration
- Ability to supervise and develop meaningful activities while adhering to the Community Development Program (CDP) guidelines
- Proven ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds, and unemployed and disadvantaged Jobseekers
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, problem solve and manage conflict
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all matters
- A knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) principles and practices
- The ability to travel when required as per organisational requirements
- Successfully obtain a Working with Children's (Ochre) Card and National Police Clearance
