Form of workHamptons on the Bay and Younique Stays are hiring a couple for a live-in caretaking position at the beautiful property, Hamptons on the Bay.
The property is located on the cliff face of Rocky Hills, Tasmania, a 10 minute drive to Swansea Township.
A one bedroom caretakers cottage is provided for use whilst employed with us, included in the package as well as power, wood and water usage. The cottage itself has a pot belly stove, is fully furnished, has a bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity, and also a simple kitchen. The deck faces the ocean and you can sit there, cook up a BBQ after a hard day’s work caring for the most beautiful, Hamptons on the Bay property.
The property comprises of seven cabins and one luxurious main residence. The grounds are a combination of lawns and garden beds, and the role requires yard maintenance and property cleaning.
It is estimated you will between 9:30am – 3pm cleaning, and the caretaking of the property (lawns, gutter maintenance, general maintenance etc) can be up to 10 hours a week additional time. These hours are to be shared between the couple, so roughly 30-40 hours a week available for the pair.
This role is offered on a 18 month contract, with an immediate start preferred so comprehensive training can be provided. The role is all encompassing, you’re responsible for the smooth running of the property (water supply, clean cabins, and on site dealings with guests). We don’t have a reception and Younique Stays handles all communications with guests, so you just need to be friendly and helpful if they’re stuck on site.
Salary package to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
