About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Proposal Engineer to join our small but professional team within our Process Automation department. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting customers, agents, and our dynamic sales team, consisting of Account Managers and Technical Sales Specialists. Your primary responsibility will be providing technical quotations, preliminary designs (drawings) to demonstrate the solutions to the customer, delivery schedules, order entry and assisting with inquires over the phone (customer calls) and through email, engaging with customers to understand their specific requirements and offer suitable solutions. You will collaborate with various teams, such as Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics. You will utilise various tools such as the companies MRP system (MOVEX/M3) for Order Entry and Manufacturing Scheduling, EDM (Document Management), AutoCAD, CRM (Siebel) and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. 

What We Look For

We are seeking a dynamic professional with a Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent, along with the expertise in an engineering drawing package, preferably AutoCad. Knowledge of power distribution and motor control will be highly regarded. You must have a professional work ethic and be able to work in a fast paced environment where the ability to communicate well and timely with the customer is paramount.
