About the opportunity
The Ceridian Proposal Advisory team supports the Ceridian Sales Experts with professionally developed, strategic, and differentiating proposals. Proposal Advisory works hard, has a high level of engagement and are seeking a qualified candidate to join our winning team.
Reporting to the Proposal Advisory Manager for APJ Region, the Proposal writer will work to ensure the Dayforce application is presented in a consistent and clear manner aligned with the go-to-market strategy. This role supports complex and high value opportunities, by writing value-based and compelling responses customized to the specific scope, needs, and industry vertical. With a dual focus on project management, you will also be accountable for holding stakeholders to task, developing the timeline, and identifying the deliverables to ensure each response is completed and submitted on time.
What you’ll get to do
- Deliver high quality, in-depth sales proposals contributing to our overall success through improved win rate and enhanced customer engagement with Dayforce. Specific tasks include:
- Creating strong relationships and working collaboratively with cross functional, teams including Sales Executives, Marketing, Strategy, Industry Experts, Implementation/Services and Advisory team
- Lead strategy calls with all sales and Ceridian stakeholders and provide project management tasks from start to finish
- Working with Sales and other SMEs to translate technical themes into easily understandable, tailored, and compelling responses.
- Regularly handling multiple, complex projects simultaneously at a high capacity
- Participate in developing new materials for the Proposal team. This includes analyzing and creating content for new product modules, company-wide initiatives, vertical specific content, development of case studies and enhancement of existing content.
- Analyzing incoming enterprise RFPs objectives and determine scope and suitability of the Dayforce application.
- Review, edit, fact-check and brand all stakeholder contributions to ensure consistency in response voice and win themes are carried throughout entire response.
- Stay abreast of the latest messaging, solution and service enhancements, analyst reviews, and ROI studies, pulling in the most relevant of each where they can be most effective.
- Continuously increasing your knowledge of the Ceridian Dayforce platform and related services
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and experience we value
- 1+ year of previous proposal experience
- University bachelor’s degree with a major or specialty in Business, English, Marketing, Human Resources
- Extraordinary attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Strong written and oral presentation skills
- Experience and expertise with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with distributed or remote working environment
- Distinctive problem‐solving skills and very strong analyst capabilities
- Strong time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize work from multiple sources.
- Comfortable with ambiguity; entrepreneurial; working independently.
