About the role
The Adult Access Service is an established regional integrated service incorporating Crisis Assessment and treatment, Emergency Department response (Box Hill, Maroondah and Angliss Hospital), Telephone triage, Mental Health and Police Response and Ambulance Victoria Teleprompt.
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Mental Health Adult Access Service for passionate and enthusiastic Psychiatric Enrolled Nurses with sound clinical Mental Health experience. These are newly established positions that will be pioneering the PEN in an Access service.
The Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse level 3 will be responsible for supporting the adult access service in providing direct and indirect care, and in collaborate and consultation with health care recipients, their families and community as well as RPNs and other health professionals, to plan, implement and evaluate integrated care that optimises outcomes for recipients and the systems of care. About you
To be successful in this role you should possess:
- Registration with AHPRA as Enrolled Nurse
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Mental Health, preferably in the community
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team
