Salary- This role is an in-patient role, treating patients from the well-resourced Rural & Remote Team, looking after patients from Cardwell to Bowen, Palm Island to Mount Isa, admitted to the Inpatient Unit. You will work closely with the Rural Resource Team and Rural Community Mental Health teams to provide excellent evidence based inpatient treatment to people from Rural & Remote areas. You will be supported by Indigenous Health workers to deliver culturally appropriate care and a registrar & RMO. We encourage the participation of family and carers from remote areas, in person and through the use of technology.
- No On-call required
- Higher rate of $3000/day offered to candidates who commit to the continuous period of the contract.
