Position Purpose: Psychologists will support the development and mental wellbeing of children and young people, through the provision of specialised psychology services including evidence-based interventions and comprehensive assessments.

Key Responsibilities and duties:
- Skillfully engage with children, adolescents, and families, delivering high quality psychology supports that help each person become the best they can be.
- Efficiently manage a diverse caseload, ensuring impeccable clinical care standards through assessments, collaborative treatment planning, impactful therapeutic interventions, and smooth integration with the client’s natural environments.
- Where appropriate, build and maintain relationships with key people in a client’s life to optimise service coordination and fostering collaboration for seamless and consistent care.
- Complete meaningful, timely and professional clinical record-keeping and documentation.
- Actively engage in continuing professional growth, embracing supervision and participating in both internal and external development opportunities.
- Work within legal and ethical obligations for excellent care.
- Exemplify the principles of Playology’s approach to care.
Essential qualifications/experience:
- Registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
- Demonstrated clinical skills in the provision of supports for children and young people
- Continuously satisfy the PBA continuing professional development standards
- Current Working with Children’s Check (Employee) prior to commencement
- Eligibility to work in Australia
Desirable qualifications/experience
- Experience working with children in a variety of settings, including clinic and natural settings
- Experience working with children with disabilities and developmental delays
- Experience working within an NDIS framework
