Job description

Our client, a leading national organisation within the mental health and early intervention sector, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychologist to join their brand-new clinic in the picturesque coastal suburb of Manly.

This opportunity offers the perfect blend of a small practice's warm and supportive environment with the robust backing of a large corporate entity.

What Our Client Offers:

  • Comprehensive Support: Enjoy the luxury of focusing purely on your therapeutic role, with an experienced administration team handling appointments, invoicing, and NDIS changes.
  • Professional Growth: Leverage the collective expertise of some of Australia's finest professionals in the field. Benefit from additional professional leave days, a generous professional development budget, monthly in-house training sessions, and regular supervision.
  • Work-Life Balance: Choose between permanent part-time or full-time employment with flexible working hours tailored to your lifestyle.
  • Attractive Remuneration: Receive a competitive salary complemented by performance incentives, access to a Mental Health and Wellbeing Program, paid parental leave, and a discount marketplace.
Role Overview:
  • Provide early intervention and therapy services to support children and families, focusing on maximising independence and participation.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify goals and needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored psychological interventions, promoting informed decision-making and functional outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with families, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and effective service delivery.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts through regular evaluation, training, and review.
Who We Are Looking For:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current AHPRA registration.
  • A deep passion for making a positive impact on families, with a creative approach to delivering fun, engaging, and meaningful therapy.
  • Expertise in counselling and knowledge of therapeutic interventions for a diverse range of mental health, trauma, and behavioural issues.
  • Experience in risk and mental health assessments.
  • Compliance with all necessary checks and registrations, including AHPRA, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid Training, and possession of a Driver’s License & Vehicle.
