Psychologist

Harmony Healthcare is seeking a talented and compassionate psychologist to join our team in South West Sydney. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and use a range of evidence-based approaches to help patients manage and improve their quality of life.
Harmony Healthcare is a healthcare practice that provides a range of treatments and therapies. Our team includes medical professionals, exercise physiologists, and psychologists, and we offer a range of medical procedures, including stellate ganglion blocks and spinal cord stimulators, as well as therapeutic exercise and psychological therapies.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and some group therapy. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Essential Criteria
We are looking for a psychologist who embodies compassion and has a fervent drive to assist others. The essential criteria include:
General or clinical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Eligibility to become a registered Medicare provider.
A background in treating adults with various mental health conditions.
A demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice in psychological interventions.
  
Desirable Criteria
While not essential, we regard the following as highly desirable:
Training in and the capacity to offer Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and/or Schema Therapy.
