Address The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Develop, implement and evaluate media management, corporate communication, Public Affairs and marketing strategies on behalf of regions, commands and divisions of the QPS.- Identify proactive media, marketing and promotional opportunities for the QPS.- Provide specialist advice to members of the QPS on media, social media, Public Affairs, marketing and corporate ID issues.- Produce news releases, social media information, speeches, internal and external online and printed publications and marketing and promotional materials.- Represent Media and Public Affairs and the QPS at meetings with clients and stakeholders of the QPS.- Lead and supervise small teams to ensure effective initiation, development and implementation of media management, Public Affairs and marketing projects.- Prepare news releases, talking points, speech notes and briefing material for use by QPS executives or the Minister.

- Nil required however qualifications and/or experience in journalism and/or Public Affairs in a large geographically dispersed organization will be considered favourably.
