About the Role
The Media Services Unit is responsible for supporting the Department’s broader role through services including finance and media support services to the Department, Ministers and the sector.
The Media Services Unit provides media services to the above agencies across a wide range of functions including internal and external communications and engagements. Ministerial media statements and distribution, Ministerial media conferences, media monitoring, production of the Government Gazette and whole of government compliance advice for Government Campaign Advertising.
The coordinator leads the Publishing and Advertising team within the Media Services section that delivers Publishing and Advertising services to Ministerial Offices, Government agencies and the broader public sector, including managing content on the Premier and Ministerial websites.
Accountable for managing services and stakeholder relationships with other agencies related to the GovNews media monitoring service, manages advertising within, and production of the Government Gazette.
Wider team manages Ministerial media conferences held in the Dumas House media room including setup and preparation of technical media equipment.
