This is a rare opportunity for you to join our small Publishing team based in Sydney’s CBD. In this full‑time role, you will work within the Publishing team to assess publishing applications and work with remote Indigenous communities to bring the approved projects to fruition in book, animation, audio and other digital formats.
Key responsibilities include developing and managing Community projects from initial concept to finished works, assisting in workshops and events in remote communities and liaising and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders such as designers and animators and all ILF teams.
To succeed you must value and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and engagement with remote communities is desirable. At least 3 years publishing experience, preferably children's editorial with experience in picture books is required. You must have the ability to multitask, meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a positive attitude.
