Purpose of the role
The Store person will be responsible for warehouse activities supporting manufacturing products and sub-assemblies for Amadeus hardware.
As a member of the supply chain and manufacturing team, the Store Person is responsible for monitor and control the flow of goods into and out of warehouses and other storage facilities, check goods on arrival and before dispatch, ensuring they have the right products, in the correct quantity and that there is no damage.
The Store Person will support the Warehouse Team Leader and the warehouse operations to ensure the stock levels are accurate, pick/pack and dispatch in timely manner to ensure subcontractors receive materials in time for production schedule to be met according to project deadline.
Main Responsibilities
- Unloading, receiving and inspecting goods in our warehouse facility
- Picking goods from shelves and recording their movements
- Stocking shelves and pallet racking in a safely manner using a walkie stacker
- Being able to perform warehouse packing operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Palletize orders using straps and clean wraps, with knowledge on international shipments regulations
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Maintaining and housekeeping of warehouse
- Periodic stock takes and regular stock control
Experience and requirements
- Previous experience in pick/packing and general warehouse operations.
- Good presentation and work ethic
- Physically fit and capable
- Willing to learn and attention to detail
- Positive can-do attitude
- Experience in using a walkie stacker/forklift (preferable)
