We provide engineering services for the PV, BESS, and EV sectors, immersing our engineers in the heart of the action. About the Position

Mindaro is seeking an Electrical Engineer to manage the design of projects for our clients.  This role requires:

• Designing PV and BESS systems for ground mount sites up to 200 MW, rooftops up to 5 MW.
• Designing EV Charging Stations for greenfield and brownfield sites.
• Managing a pipeline of projects to guarantee timely delivery.
• Working with a team of engineers and managing QA processes.
• Working collaboratively with clients to ensure full project transparency.
• Seeking out/developing new tools and processes to ensure Mindaro improves every single day.
• Managing projects to minimise variations, and where absolutely requires, raising them with clients.

About You

You are highly competent, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and you follow process.

You must have:

• CEC/SAA Grid Connect Design Accreditation
• Excellent understand of relevant Australian Standards (3000, 3008, 4777, 5033, 1170.2)
• Excellent understanding of the Australian commercial PV / BESS sector
• Ability to communicate clearly and comfortably with clients and counterparts
• Intermediate AutoCAD skills
• Intermediate on Excel
• Generally comfortable and quick with computers

What the role looks like

This role requires you to work with a team of engineers, often working on multiple projects at once. You will be responsible for:

• Client liaison, understanding project scope, and ensuring client satisfaction
• Delegating work to remote engineers, then reviewing their output to ensure it meets relevant standards and Mindaro design criteria
• Providing progress updates to clients, ensuring agreed timelines are kept
• Assisting other project managers with their workloads and balancing them where needed
