Job Duties:

·         Utilize Pytha software to create precise and detailed joinery drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and assembly diagrams, in accordance with project specifications and standards.

·         Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to navigate design revisions, scope changes, and various project stages effectively.

·         Conduct site visits as needed to gather measurements and assess site conditions for joinery installations, ensuring accuracy and compatibility with design plans.

·         Generate shop drawings and production documentation, including material lists, hardware schedules, and assembly instructions, to guide manufacturing processes.

·         Review architectural and engineering drawings to identify potential conflicts or discrepancies with joinery designs and propose solutions to resolve them.

·         Incorporate client feedback and preferences into joinery designs, making revisions and adjustments as necessary to meet client expectations.

·         Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components required ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

·         Maintain clear and organized documentation of project files, revisions, and correspondence for reference and record-keeping purposes.

·         Assist in the development and maintenance of drafting standards, templates, and libraries to streamline the drafting process and ensure consistency across projects.

·         Participate in project meetings and discussions to provide technical expertise, contribute to problem-solving efforts, and support project objectives.

·         Conduct quality control checks on completed drawings to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

·         Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pytha Draftperson.

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in drafting, architecture, engineering, or related field preferred.

·         Proficiency in Pytha software or similar CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.

·         Strong technical drafting skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

·         Ability to interpret and understand architectural drawings, sketches, and specifications.

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

·         Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.

·         Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

·         Problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
