Form of workWe are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team
This is a full time, fixed term, two year position.
The key responsibilities of the QA Automation Engineer will be:
- Undertake a requirements analysis for an automated test platform through consultation with CeRDI management, CeRDI developers, ITS and other stakeholders.
- Document deliverables for an automated test platform in collaboration with CeRDI staff.
- Implement an automated test platform per documented specification, monitoring and reporting on project progress and risks.
- Train CeRDI developers on the maintenance and operation of the test platform.
- Coordinate establishment of automated testing for systems and sites/applications.
- Hand over operation of the test platform
Applicants must demonstrate they are able to undertake the key responsibilities of the position and are able to meet the following key selection criteria:
- Graduate qualifications in Information Technology and at least four years relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
- Demonstrated expertise in development of test automation platforms, integrated with CI/CD (Bitbucket preferred).
- Demonstrated extensive experience developing test plans for complex data driven web applications.
- Demonstrated ability in requirement gathering, documenting solution specifications, and writing functional requirements.
- Demonstrated ability in project planning and management, including demonstrated experience working within teams to achieve quality and timely objectives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills, including written, verbal and electronic communication.
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively within a team environment.
