Qa Supervisor

Alchemy Recruitment is currently partnered with a world leader in mining who is seeking an experienced QA Supervisor for a contract position based in the Queensland, Bowen Basin Region.
  
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor for a significant mining sector project. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality control and assurance throughout the project lifecycle. In this role is reporting to a Execution Manager in a Major Projects Team, you will draw on your proficient leadership and technical capabilities to plan, manage and execute assigned works onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

This project involves a large-scale Fleet Management System (FMS) upgrade aimed at bolstering mining capacity and safety.

• Oversee and manage all QA/QC activities related to a FMS overhaul
• Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and project specifications.
• Lead quality assurance strategies and quality control systems to meet project goals.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• 2-3 years + experience as a Supervisor specifically within a Brownfield coal mine site (would also consider a leading hand in the pit looking to step up)
• Proven background in auto electrical installations and maintenance with a QA/QC capacity or exposure to punch listing or projects completion
• Previous mining experience as a Certified Auto sparky
• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
• Knowledge in reading schematics and understanding mining equipment systems
• Experience in working on heavy mining equipment 
• Strong understanding of industry regulations and specifications relevant to installing and maintaining technology equipment on a mine site
• Flexible attitude and sound work ethic
• Ability to achieve results and work within specified time frames
• Sound understanding of workplace OH&S
• Hold current S1,2,3 and G2 competencies desired not mandatory..
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed performance goals and objectives.

This is an 12 contract position (with potential for extension) based in the Bowen Basin in QLD, for a leading owners team. Offering a highly attractive day rate, working on a 7:7 day shift only roster roster with FIFO or DIDO to the mine on offer.
