Preshafood Pty Ltd, Australia's leading commercial manufacturer of HPP (High Pressure Processed) Preshafood fruit and vegetable juice brands, seeks a Quality Control Supervisor at its manufacturing site in Derrimut, Melbourne, Victoria.
About the role
Reporting to the QA Manager/Production Coordinator, the primary responsibility of this role is to
facilitate and drive the Quality department to ensure customers’ requirements and expectations are met.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
Coordinate quality matters and act as point of contact for day-to-day quality issues
Ensure all quality matters and tests are performed in accordance to the test methods provided by customers
Ensure factory compliance to GMP & HACCP and CFMSR requirements
Coordinate & help in managing customer complaints including investigation of the root cause of non-conformity of in-coming materials, in-Process products and finished products
Investigate out of specification results, including packaging, raw materials, finished products or environmental results
GMP monitoring of factory, warehouses and offices
Coordinate & manage production checks within the factory
Help Manage HACCP plan within operations
Conduct and participate in audits internally and externally as required
Provide project support to ensure compliance or improvement of the Quality Management System
Contribute towards product development including production of samples, processing etc.
Skills:
To be successful for this role, you will possess the following:
Minimum Tertiary Qualification in Food Technology, Food Science or related discipline
Having an excellent understanding for GMP, HACCP, Food quality and Safety, CCP, QCP
Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
A quick learner with a can-do attitude; ability to prioritize and multitasks jobs
Good Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
