About the PositionAs
Qantas Freight (EFA) embark on fleet enhancements and expansions, the
A321/A330 Simulator Instructor is crucial to facilitating a seamless transition. You will be instrumental in providing comprehensive training to our aircrew, ensuring they possess the knowledge and skills necessary to operate these aircraft safely and effectively. This includes conducting type rating, differences, remedial, and recency training sessions, all geared towards maintaining the highest standards of proficiency and adherence to regulatory requirements.Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining and updating training materials, procedures, and programs to align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will also provide constructive feedback and guidance to aircrew during simulator sessions, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence. A321/A330 Simulator Instructor position is currently Melbourne-based, there are plans to introduce A321 and A330 simulators in Sydney by the end of 2024. With these developments, there is possibility for this role to transition into a Sydney-based opportunity through mutual agreement.As the A321 / A330
Simulator Instructor with
Qantas Freight (EFA), you’ll have:
- 2 years’ experience as a flight crew member in High-Capacity Jet Transport operations
- Demonstrated experience as a Check Pilot
- Prior experience as a training pilot or flying instructor
- CASA Pilot Instructor Rating Exam (PIRC)
- Hold / held an Australian CPL or ATPL with A321 and or A330 type rating
- Current CASA Simulator Instructor Rating with A321 and or A330
- Current CASA Flight Examiner with either A321 and or A330
