Qa/Qc Inspector - Electrical

PHE’s Mining division is looking for a talented QA/QC Inspector to join the team. This role will report to the Construction Manager and will ensure consultation of appropriate stakeholders is undertaken while providing supervision of our direct labour force on allocated projects which are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.

This role will be based at a remote mine site in the Northern Territory on a 2 &1 roster with 12 hour days.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITES:

• Providing supervision of our direct labour force on a range of brownfield and greenfield projects
• Promote/ensure safe work practices on the job and abide by all WH&S & Environmental Acts and Regulations
• QA and Commissioning check sheets
• Development, and management of Handover Work packs, ITP’s and FTR’s  
• Preparation and reading of drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry.
• Red-line drawing management/updating.
• Participate in client punch list walkdowns
• Interface with operations for isolation and plant tie-ins.
• Liaise and report to external Clients
• To coordinate and promote Continuous Quality Improvement
• Reporting on project progress

ABOUT YOU:

• Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
• Hold a Current NT Electrical Licence
• White / Blue Construction Card
• Current Driver's Licence
• High Risk Work Licence with WP class
• Working at Heights certificate
• Minimum 2 years experience working as an Electrical Supervisor, Commissioning Supervisor, Electrical Control Engineer or similar
• Strong commitment to safety, customer satisfaction and quality;
• Attention to detail;
• The ability to meet targets under pressure;
• The Ability to read and interpret construction and commissioning schedules
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
• Computer literacy and a willingness to learn and apply corporate software systems
• Roll out and deliver the commissioning works to meet project schedules and within budget.
