Address- Routine QC testing on finished products and key raw materials
- Control and issue quality control reports
- Oversee quality control issues in factory production as required
- Report problems in meeting requirements to Development Chemists / Team Leaders / Production Managers
- File workorders and retain samples
- Keep area clean and tidy
- Report any problems with equipment to the National Quality Manager
- Report problems related to QC to the National Quality Manager
- Ensure all QC is completed in a timely fashion
- Update BOM’s etc. on Aurora as and when required
- Assist with drafting and implementing SOP and test methods
- Take on Continuous Projects projects from time to time as instructed by the National Quality Manager
- Under Graduate Degree in Chemistry and 3 years’ experience in a QC role, specialising in polymer products.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to follow up on issues and workflows
- Ability to watch out for wellbeing of other workers particularly with respect to safe practices
- Ability to stay focused and attentive to the work environment
- Motivated, with great initiative and can do attitude.
