You will be given an opportunity to work directly with customers and visit their sites.Main Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests, prepare samples, and conduct rotomoulding of polymers following established procedures to support technical tasks.
- Quality control testing including melt flow index (MFI), impact testing, colour matching and tensile strength of polymers.
- Assist in managing the colour library, ensuring it’s current, and providing samples for colour matching.
- Analyse data and create clear technical reports to communicate experimental findings effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Provide technical support by preparing documentation and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Manage technical data entry, maintain databases, and generate monthly reports using the ERP system.
- Collaborate with suppliers as needed for ongoing projects.
- Prioritise safety and uphold company values including teamwork, honesty, trust, empowerment, and openness in all activities.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in a similar role within the polymer industry will be advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Positive energy, ambitious and “can do”/optimistic attitude.
