You will be given an opportunity to work directly with customers and visit their sites.Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests, prepare samples, and conduct rotomoulding of polymers following established procedures to support technical tasks.
  • Quality control testing including melt flow index (MFI), impact testing, colour matching and tensile strength of polymers.
  • Assist in managing the colour library, ensuring it’s current, and providing samples for colour matching.
  • Analyse data and create clear technical reports to communicate experimental findings effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Provide technical support by preparing documentation and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Manage technical data entry, maintain databases, and generate monthly reports using the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with suppliers as needed for ongoing projects.
  • Prioritise safety and uphold company values including teamwork, honesty, trust, empowerment, and openness in all activities.
SELECTION CRITERIATo be shortlisted for this exciting opportunity you will need to meet the following criteria:
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in a similar role within the polymer industry will be advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Positive energy, ambitious and “can do”/optimistic attitude.
