The Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth, 360 Engineering is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Brisbane team.
Working closely with staff, clients and reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in maintaining the high delivery standards for which 360 Engineering is known, whilst contributing directly to the growth and strategy of the company.
Managing the project delivery, client support and sales functions of the Queensland portfolio, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the Queensland team, including:
- Resource management and team leadership
- Mentoring and professional development
- Project management and overall project oversight
- Technical leadership
- Client relationship management
- Business development
- Financial administration
- Quality systems
You will have the opportunity to work with industry leading technologies; leading the team in designing, programming, testing, commissioning and supporting SCADA, PLC, RTU, HMI and telemetry systems as well as their supporting electrical infrastructure.
You will be working with the support of an experienced, enthusiastic and tight-knit team across the 360 Engineering organisation, including our Principal Engineer and relevant discipline technical specialists.
The role will include moderate amounts of domestic travel to attend client sites.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience in a similar leadership role within an Industrial Automation organisation, with a work history of at least 10 years of total experience within the industry.
You will have an intimate knowledge of all stages of the project lifecycle and a strong grasp of the technical concepts of the systems we deliver, with the ability to converse confidently with clients to provide high-level technical solutions and advice.
You will be passionate about proactively maintaining client relationships and maximising the value of our offerings to them.
You will have demonstrable experience in collaborative leadership and implementation of efficient work processes.
We would ideally be looking for someone with direct experience in delivering Industrial Automation and telemetry systems experience in the Water/Wastewater sector.
You will preferably have a background with some of the following technologies and concepts:
- SCADA, PLCs, RTU and HMIs
- Telemetry networks
- Electrical Design
- Industrial Networking
- OT Cyber security
Finally, you'll take genuine pride in your work, with good attention to detail, a sense of initiative and a 'can-do' attitude.
