Our client is on the lookout for a proactive and energetic individual to join their team and make a mark in the world of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE). This maternity leave contract opportunity kicks off ASAP, and we want YOU to be a part of this thrilling journey.
About the Role:
As the QHSE Coordinator, reporting directly to the QSHE Manager of ANZ, you'll be at the forefront of managing day-to-day QHSE activities. Dive into a role where you'll take charge of standards, procedures, audits, and lead safety investigations. Your mission? Ensure the highest safety standards align seamlessly with our client's strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of standards, procedures, audits, and lead safety investigations
Manage incident/accident reporting and LTIR preparation.
Conduct and coordinate QSHE Committee meetings, activities, and audits
Undertake QSHE audits, analyse results, prepare reports, and take corrective action as required.
Provide regulatory support and integrate QSHE matters into projects.
Assist in maintaining ISO certifications and manage the non-conformance process.
Coordinate ISO audits for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring alignment with business activities.
About You:
Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety (minimum)
Cert IV in Training and Assessment (minimum)
Experience in quality, health safety & environment roles previously.
Interstate and travel to NZ may be required in the role.
Diploma of Lead Auditing or relevant certification in ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and HACCP accreditation
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft skills, with Excel proficiency
Strong analytical skills to identify trends.
Ability to influence and communicate effectively across the organization
Enthusiastic and highly motivated with strong time management skills
Advantageous: Experience in the chemical manufacturing/distribution industry
