It is an exciting time for tennis in Australia and we have ambitious plans to continue to grow the game from grassroots through to high performance. To help achieve our goals, we have transformed how we deliver tennis, with offering more opportunities for more players and a greater role for personal coaches in identifying and developing our future talent. We are now looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join the Queensland Tennis Centre (QTC) team on a full-time, permanent basis.
In this role you will:
Reporting to the QTC Tennis Operations Manager, in this role you will provide high quality customer service to both new and existing customers, whilst promoting and supporting all products and services to increase sales at QTC. This role will be required to remain at the Centre until after close on weeknights (10pm) and weekends (7pm).
- Ensure customers are given the best advice for their Tennis Journey at all times, creating a positive customer experience
- Deliver on sales targets, ensuring that sales strategies are delivered and cross promotions are being met across the team
- Train and support team members in operational running and delivery of the tennis business.
- Administer the In-tennis database to ensure all customer details are managed to keep all program information up to date
- Perform sales tasks of all retail products including restocking and stocktake
- Work with team members to maintain and improve the front of house operations
What you will bring to this role:
- Experience in program development and implementation
- Program planning and implementation experience
- Excellent communication skills, including customer service experience
- Sound organisational and administration skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a challenging and changing environment
- Flexibility regarding work schedules and training hours
- Alignment with the Tennis values of Excellence, Humility, Collaboration and Imagination
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
