Form of workEvolve Scientific are currently searching for a highly skilled Qualification Engineer (Process Equipment) to join with one of our largest clients, a Global leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Based in the Northern suburbs, this will be an onsite position.
About the role:
Based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, this opportunity is for a 9–12-month Project Delivery role. The successful applicant will be responsible for self-driven delivery of the process equipment project scope to completion, including execution of as built installation status, process/CIP functional commissioning, verification and handover scope. The successful candidate should have prior experience with commissioning/qualification and a strong team focus.
Role purpose:
- Full implementation of the design including an active participation ranging from basic mechanical as-built installation status, functional process/CIP commissioning and verification of facility equipment and plant
- Developing and analysing commissioning trends for troubleshooting and interpreting plant cycle time relative to business case
- Creating and maintaining project lifecycle documentation capturing the commissioning and verification of the facility and process design (i.e. PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets and technical specifications)
- Working within a cross-functional project team, including engineers, contractors, facility stakeholders and project control teams
- Schedule and budget adherence of the respective plant areas
To be considered for the role, the ideal candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Technical experience in a pharmaceutical or similar industry (food, chemical and allied areas) may be considered in lieu of an Engineering degree.
- Familiarity with technical engineering documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, specifications)
- Good problem solving and technical skillset, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to approach problem solving in a proactive and consultative manner.
- Strong communication skills with customers, design teams, contractors, and management
- Action oriented skills: ability to learn on the job.
