AddressAs a Qualified Accountant, this position will support management and have future opportunity for growth and development. The successful candidate will have strong Financial Management capabilities combined with Accounts Payable and Receivable knowledge. Experience preparing monthly financial statements and an understanding of control frameworks is essential.
Key Responsibilities for this role will include but not be limited to:
- Preparation of monthly financial statements, including journals, reconciliations, variance analysis and reports
- Oversight of the Accounts payable and receivable functions
- Assist with year-end financial statements including preparation of audit work papers and liaising with auditors
- Monitor the organisations' cash position
- Prepare and submit the quarterly Business Activity Statement
- Assist with budget preparation
- Other related project work
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Accounting qualification
- CPA or equivalent desirable but not essential
