The Opportunity
St John WA have multiple opportunities available for qualifiedand experienced Ambulance Paramedics.
Our Paramedics are courageous, caring, confident and patient andput themselves on the front-line of pre-hospital medical care everyday, making life changing decisions. Our Paramedics workcollaboratively with the broader St John WA organisation and otherhealth care and emergency service organisations to provide quality,patient centred care to the Western Australian community.
Please note, due to operational demands successful applicantswill be rostered to and required to work in the South Metropolitanarea. Applicants that reside outside of this area will be expectedto travel to these locations.
Candidate Eligibility and Criteria
To be considered candidates must have;
- completed a degree in Paramedicine from a recognised AHPRA approved programs of study course provider or recognised international education provider;
- professional registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia, or willingness to obtain;
- at least 24 months of recent experience within a recognised jurisdictional ambulance service;
- hold a drivers license with no restrictions and no more than 6 demerit points if an Australian drivers licence, or equivalent; and
- Proof of Australian Working Rights are no longer required as part of the application process.
Please note, we are now accepting applications from candidateswho do not currently have Australian Working Rights. Candidateswill need to meet visa eligibility requirements, including age andqualifications, as outlined by the Department of Home Affairs.
