Form of workWe are looking for a Qualified Auto Electrician who has previous experience as a Service Technician, to join our team in Sunshine West. A competitive hourly rate will be negotiable dependent on experience.
You will be joining a dedicated, professional team which places emphasis on staff training and development and workplace satisfaction.
About the role :
- Excellent hourly rate on offer for this Permanent role
- Medium to Heavy Truck experience
- Must be Trade Qualified
- A current drivers license is essential
- Must be reliable, enthusiastic and a team player
- Possess great communication skills both verbal and written
- Full Australian / New Zealand working rights essential
Key duties:
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults and computer controlled systems used in automotive technology
- Calibrate and test any electrical components and wiring following installation, repair or upgrade
- Service or replace defective electrical parts and wiring
- Fault finding using multimeter and schematics
- Installing and maintaining pneumatic/electrical systems
- Onsite auto-electrical repairs
- Identifying, reporting and repairing vehicle defects
- Completing assigned duties in a safe, clean, competent and timely manner
