We are looking for a full time Experienced Baker or Pastry Chef with a minimum of 2 years experience to join our professional Baking Team
Nimmitabel Bakery is famous for its pies but also excels in bread and a large range of cakes, tarts and slices. We are a large extremely busy bakery based in the Snowy Mountains and have another 2 locations that we supply based in Jindabyne and Adaminaby.
We are looking for an all rounder that is competent in Puff Pastry, Bread and Cake production, or be willing to learn. With such a variety we promise you won’t be bored!
You will be required to work to production schedules and output targets maintaining a high quality of product quality in a time efficient manner, and maintaining a clean work environment. You will need to work hard and efficiently to keep production levels up to customer demands and expectations.
We work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays. You must also be able to work independently or as part of a team.
This role is based in Nimmitabel, a small village located in the Snowy Mountains NSW. While the town is small based 30 minutes outside of Cooma, 1.5 hours from the Coast, The skifields and Canberra.

To be a contender for this role you will have:
· Your Certificate III in Bakery and have proven experience in a similar level role within industry,
· Enthusiasm and passion for your trade,
· A Passion for quality and consistency
· An understanding of and adherence to WHS standards & policies, food safety requirements and industry codes of conduct,
· Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a cooperative member of a team,
· A flexible approach to working hours over a 7 day roster including weekends and public holidays.
· Availability for immediate start
· A strong focus on safety and hygiene
· Good English communication skills
· Outstanding work ethic.
