About the role:
To support the growing demand on the Mornington Peninsula, we are looking to recruit for the following roles:
- Personal Care Assistant / Carer (qualified)
- Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
Working across the Mornington Peninsula, you will be supported by a dedicated Care Manager and experienced team, to assist our clients to remain living independently in their own homes. We establish tight-knit care teams by endeavouring to match clients with carers and nurses who have compatible interests to support our clients.
As a Personal Care Assistant / Carer, you will support clients with:
- Shopping.
- Preparing and cooking meals.
- Household cleaning.
- Attending appointments or activities within the community.
- Social support and companionship.
- Personal care such as showering, dressing, and helping with personal hygiene.
- Palliative care.
As a Nurse (EEN / RN), you will support clients with:
- High level clinical care;
- Wound management;
- Medication Management;
- Catheter management;
- Physical and cognitive assessments;
- Chronic disease management (diabetes, respiratory, cardiac);
- Palliative care management;
- Ensuring our clients receive the best possible individualised care and support, through building strong, professional relationships.
Available employment/shifts:
- Casual positions available.
- Base rate of $41.50 per hour for a Carer (including casual loading)
- Base rate of $54.50 per hour for a Nurse (including casual loading)
- Work hours that suit your lifestyle – shifts vary from 2 hours to 24 hours in length.
- Shifts are available across the Mornington Peninsula.
We are looking for people who have:
- A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent (for a Carer role)
- A current registration with AHPRA as a Division 1 Registered Nurse or Division 2 Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
- A passion for caring for people and delivering a high standard of care.
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Access to a smartphone.
- A current driver’s license and access to a registered, insured and well-presented car.
- The right to work in Australia & can obtain a satisfactory Police Check.
