A unique opportunity exists within our growing organic food store on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in QLD. Late last year we moved our very loved retail store (founded 10 years ago), into a stunning BRAND NEW custom-designed and custom-built premises at Marcoola - straight across the road from one of the most pristine beaches in the world.
In February of this year we launched our very own wholefoods cafe within the same new premises. Our Food Display Cabinet offerings have been wholeheartedly embraced by our community over the past few months, and we are now preparing to launch our very first A La Carte menu.
There are several cheffing positions available as we work towards bringing our vision to life. Each position will involve working anywhere from 2 - 5 days / week, with no nights (and the opportunity to create a beautiful work-life balance).
You'll be working with exceptional quality, organic & locally-sourced ingredients, amongst a team of highly passionate foodies. The cafe houses a brand new commercial kitchen, designed specifically for limitless culinary creativity.
We are looking for chefs who:
~ Are passionate about quality wholefoods and ‘from scratch’ cooking
~ Are on the same nutritional page (traditional wholefoods) and have no issues handling meat (always grass-fed / organic)
~ Care about and love preparing food for others
