We are a quirky cafe in the heart of Samford Village. We are adjacent to a Harry Potter themed shop (The Store of Requirement) and we have taken inspiration in our decor from that. We are looking to provide our customers with wholesome, tasty food that you might not usually see in other cafes. We want to be known for our outrageous and delicious deserts and milkshakes as well as the staples that everyone loves such as bacon and eggs (maybe with a twist). We would like to provide our customers with food that reminds them of visiting with their Nana on a Sunday afternoon. The space we have created is warm and inviting and offers the customers comfortable and interesting places to sit and catch up with their family and friends while enjoying our own blend of coffee and some tasty treats.
We are a fun, happy team looking for someone who wants to enjoy the work life balance.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience running a kitchen and directing kitchen staff
Tasks & responsibilities
- Breakfast and lunch. Running of Al a Carte kitchen, creative input with the menu. Food Preparation, kitchen operations, quality assurance, team collaboration, customer satisfaction, creativity and innovation.
- This role will entail you working with and supporting our head chef.
- Looking for a reliable, long term team player.
