About the Role
To be successful as a CNC machinist you should be creative, perceptive, detail-oriented and an active learner. Candidates with exceptional critical thinking, time management and communication skills, an ability to handle complex machines and tools, and a willingness to lead by example in the workplace.
CNC Machinist Skills
- Able to operate a variety of CNC & Manual machines.
- Able to read and fully understand engineer drawings.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and independently.
- Apply production techniques.
- Have a positive attitude and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team orientated.
- Reliable, punctual, self-motivated with a can do attitude
Skills and Experience:
- MUST reside in and hold full work rights in Australia.
- Fitter and Turner Trades Certificate.
- MUST have 2-3 years of industry experience in manual machinery, in similar Workshop environment.
- A positive can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
