Qualifications & experience
- Proven experience as a Metal Machinist with a minimum of 5 years plus in a similar role
- Proficiency in operating metalworking machinery, including lathes, milling machines, and CNC equipment.
- Strong knowledge of technical drawings and specifications
- Trade Certifications or relevant qualifications in machining is a plus
- Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Position Overview
As a Metal Machinist, you will be a crucial part of our manufacturing process. Tasks & responsibilities
- Set up and operate a variety of metalworking machines, including lathes, milling machines, and CNC equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce components that meet precise measurements and quality standards.
- Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for each machining job.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate and efficient machining processes.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify that components meet design specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure smooth operation.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to provide input on process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
