Vocational Counsellors Fluent in Arabic  - Sydney and Surrounding Suburbs.

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking passionate and qualified counsellors, Social Workers and psychologists to work across various Sydney locations.

The position involves:

• Providing professional short term, solutions focused counselling services to clients (Jobseekers) with complex barriers towards employment. Counselling will involve appropriately assessing our client's needs and concerns across a variety of different impact areas including: mental health, trauma, addiction, behavioural management, family and relationship issues. Clinicians will also be expected to consider and recommend appropriate therapeutic interventions, follow-up support, liaison and/or referral with other professional services.

The following are core requirements of the role:

• Degree qualified with a minimum of a Bachelor's in Psychology, Counselling or Social Work.
• Full Registration with your peak industry body inclusive of: AHPRA, ACA, PACFA, ASORC or AASW.
• Experience in clinical and counselling interventions, with an ability to liaise and support service providers.
• Ability to work competently and independently with a diverse and complex case load.
• Ability to create meaningful connections and trusting relationships with all stakeholders.
• Proven oral and written communication skills including demonstrated experience writing comprehensive reports, correspondence and intervention plans.
• Must be willing to travel to different locations within your region.
• Access to a laptop with internet connectivity.
• Must have your own Professional Indemnity Insurance.
• Must be willing to undertake both a Federal Police Check and Working with Children check.
• It would be advantageous to have an understanding of best practice principles and experience in providing critical incident management interventions.
