About the role
We are seeking a Quality & Clinical Risk Manager to oversee two Ramsay Hospitals – Ramsay Surgical Centre Glenferrie and Linacre Private Hospital.
The successful candidate will support and foster a culture within the organisation that embraces Quality and strives to continually improve patient and business outcomes. In this dynamic role you will oversee the collection, management and evaluation of clinical indicators and the investigation and resolution of clinical incidents and adverse events.
Accountable for the efficient and effective management of staff development, including contributing to, and participating in, hospital orientation, in-servicing and Clinical competence programs.
Join our quality & management teams in planning, implementing, and evaluating practices, processes, and services throughout the Hospital in achieving excellence in care delivery and quality, and contribute to shaping organisational strategy, improve procedural service provision and achieve the Hospitals’ strategic objectives.
This role reports into the Director of Clinical Services at each site.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role you will be a confident, self-directed individual with a high level of skill and knowledge in all aspect of hospital governance.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Experience and competence in undertaking root cause analysis investigations
- Demonstrated effectiveness in both operational and strategic leadership in a hospital setting
- Experience and expertise in Quality and patient safety role/s
- Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement framework/s
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – or desire to complete.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft office suite
Remuneration
On offer is a FTE salary ranging from $108,00 - $115,000 + superannuation based on experience and qualifications. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
