Position Overview:
The successful Quality and Compliance Officer is responsible working collaboratively across the business to identify improvement opportunities that improve clinical outcomes as well as strengthening strategic and operational objectives by embedding a robust quality management system and initiatives, and through coaching and peer to peer training.
The role will work closely with the Executive Director of Quality and Governance in preparation for an NDIS audit towards the end of the year.
You would also be responsible for delivery of contemporary initiatives and interventions, providing specialist advice and assistance to the CEO, Executive and Senior Leadership team in the development of policies and procedures that improve practice, and to provide assurance these are being implemented and embedded across the business with the desired and required consistency.
What do we need from you?
- Tertiary qualification in Clinical Governance, Quality, Auditing or other relevant discipline or equivalent relevant professional experience exceeding 5 years.
- Demonstrated competency in working with a recognised quality management system; analysing and interpreting information; and providing advice and reports that contribute to the overall quality management of a company.
- Working knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards and an understanding of the client experience in the disability sector.
- Strong experience in evaluating workplace practices against accreditation standards, quality systems and organisational policies and procedures.
- Demonstrable experience in guiding an organisation and providing support and coaching to services and programs to ensure a high level of compliance with statutory requirements and accreditation standards and focus on continuous improvement.
- Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills with the capability to communicate effectively with different audiences in a manner which is effective and consistent with SensesWA Purpose and Commitments.
- Valid WA driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured motor vehicle.
