Quality and Compliance Specialist
Journey Early Learning is on the path to exceeding, and with that, we are looking for an inspiring and knowledgeable Quality & Compliance Specialist to join our team.
Reporting to our Quality & Compliance Manager, you will empower and influence our Centre Leadership Teams as we work towards exceeding practices within our centres.
Our perfect applicant will have experience within the Early Education & Care sector, as you’ve previously led your team on the path to exceeding with demonstrated expertise in providing high-quality care for all children. You will have a passion for compliance, ensuring our practices align with the National Quality Standards and The Education and Care Services National Regulations.
You will support our existing Victorian centres and have the opportunity for interstate travel in partnership with our integration team. You will have the opportunity to travel to our centres to build strong connections across our community.
Having direct contact with our Educational Leaders, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Guide our teams by recognising and demonstrating our journey values daily.
- Regular Compliance visits at our centres across our centres
- Working in partnership with our Educational Leaders to on Journey standards and our approach to education and care.
- Building and maintaining strong partnerships with the appropriate regulatory bodies and government departments
- Assisting centres in the Assessment and Rating process
- Guiding and supporting the creation of Quality Improvement Plans
- Mentor and coach our team of Educational Leaders to get the best outcomes across our centres.
- Delivering online or face-to-face training as required in line with our Learning and Development focus
- Pivotal role in delivering our Strategic Plan
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience within the sector is a key leadership role (Operations Manager, Centre Manager or Educational Leader)
- Experience working within exceeding practices under the new assessment and rating system
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with the National Quality Standards and The Education and Care Services National Regulations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to create and nurture relationships
- Full working rights in Australia
