My client is a registered training organisation (RTO) that provides student-focused education and training services. They specialise in delivering vocational education in health and community qualifications. My client offers foundation skills courses that support people in moving into sustainable employment and achieving their employment goals.
About the role
In this role you will lead and drive all the Quality Assurance processes to achieve compliance and operational excellence. You will lead the participation of all internal and external audits and monitor the quality operations within the organisation including the oversite of the Student Management System and the regulatory and contractual requirements and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the maintenance of the RTO's scope of registration, including transition, removal, and addition of qualifications and Units of Competency.
- Maintaining regulatory compliance for Government contracts and Standards for RTOs 2015.
- Co-ordinate internal and external audits, qualification updates, extensions of scope and funding applications.
- Ensure accurate and compliant student's data is entered in the Student Management System (VETtrak) and successfully uploaded to SVTS and lead and manage all training claims and associated reporting and eligibility requirements.
- Providing support and guidance to the training team to ensure an active approach in minimising compliance risk.
Criteria:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the VET sector including the management of records and reporting in a contracts and compliance role.
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office packages, Office 365, VETtrak, Learning Management Systems (Canvas is desirable)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment -
- Ability to drive and influence compliance across the RTO.
- A strong focus and commitment to quality, compliance and reporting requirements.
